Project at CSU Stanislaus
An
important goal of the ELA Continuum is to make the evaluating, grading
and use of rubrics effective and teacher friendly. It is our belief
that rubrics should be used not only to evaluate student writing, but
to also use it as a tool to analyze what students do well and guide
our instruction. In an effort to achieve this goal Oakdale
teachers have designed rubrics and collected anchor papers from our
district to guide our teaching. Soon professional development will be
available in the use of the rubrics and anchor papers.
