John Simons is the Principal at Oakdale Jr. High School. This is his first year as a Principal at Oakdale Jr. High School and enjoys being a part of the community and the Oakdale Jr. High School staff.

Oakdale Junior High is a comprehensive school that serves approximately 800 seventh and eighth grade students. The mission of the Junior High is to prepare our students academically, athletically and socially for entrance to high school. We offer a full range of academic courses designed to achieve our mission. The Junior High school site has expanded in recent years to include a gymnasium and will break ground on a new library and media center in October of this year. The faculty and staff of Oakdale Junior High are looking forward to a great 2006-07 school year!

Areas of Responsibility

The Junior High School Principal is responsible for overall planning, organizing, directing, and coordinating the educational program of the junior high school.  All certificated and classified personnel assigned to the school administratively report to the Principal.
