Recap - "The third annual SOS (Support Oakdale Schools) Fun Run/Walk event brought out runners and walkers of all ages to raise money for schools in Oakdale on Saturday, March 24. “Flashback” is the theme for this year’s event with a gourmet dinner, live entertainment, dancing, auctions, and more. The sole purpose of the O.E.F. is to provide enrichment of education for students in the Oakdale Joint Unified School District. That enrichment is achieved by funding grant requests submitted by teachers with donations from businesses and individuals. The money raised goes directly to Oakdale classrooms and programs. Recap - The Shop for Charity fundraiser was a great success and directly benefits O.E.F., along with other targeted non-profits in Oakdale. O.E.F. received 100% of the proceeds from tickets and 10% of the clothes that sold on April 29. Visit Shop for Charity on Facebook and view great photos of the event.
