Areas of Responsibilities

• District technology including computer workstations, servers, printers, scanners and other computer accessories.

• Networking equipment including routers and switches.

• Responsible for maintaining the district web site, e-mail accounts, Aeries student information system, anti-virus system, anti-spam system, and library information systems.

Degrees/Credentials

• BA Economics, University of California, Los Angeles

• MLIS, San Jose State University

• Certified in Cisco Networking Technologies

The vision of the Oakdale Joint Unified School District is to be a world-class school system, recognized as a model for quality education. Its mission is to provide an educational environment that enables each individual to reach his or her full potential.

Oakdale Joint Unified School District has over 20 Windows servers, 1 Linux server, as well as over 1200 computers at the school sites. All of our libraries and classrooms are connected to the District Wide Area network for access to the Internet, which we get from the Stanislaus Count Office of Education.
